USB 2.0 is still not phased out. Manufacturers are still using it for who knows why. It'll be a long time before we see USB4 becoming common and USB 3.1 replacing USB 2.0.

There are like different versions of Zenfone 2, with completely different specs, apparently Zenfone 6 is weaker than Zenfone 2, and Zenfone 5Z is a flagship ?
I thought you were talking about max pro m1 vs max m1. Zenfone 2 with intel atom processor was an oddity which happened only once & as for 6 vs 5z even apple older gen flagships are sometimes more powerful than next gen lowest end model.

Asus started their mobile series with the model names with a Number to denote the screen size. They were Zenphone 4, Zenphone 5 and Zenphone 6. The next year they launched Zenphone 2 (here 2 indicated the generation and obviously not the screen size).
