honor 8x 6gb vs honor play 4gb

help me to decide a honor mobile
as my current mobile lenovo vibe k5 plus is almost dead

current mobile - lenovo vibe k5 plus
privious mobile - nokia lumia 920

now let me get into the point

honor 8x 4gb 64gb =15000
honor 8x 6gb 64gb=17000
honor 8x 6gb 128 gb=19000
honor play 4gb 64gb=17000

currently am towards 8x just because of design/looks and little bigger display with thin bezels
i know that kirin 710 is no match for 970 in honor play
but dont know how RAM and Processor combo works
is kirin 710 with 6 gigs RAM equals kirin 970 with 4 gigs RAM?
if no how much performence difference may i get with extra 2 gigs ram .If it is not worthy I will go for 4gb version of 8x . If this extra 2gb increases performance in pubg then i will go for 6gb version of 8x
i play pubg in i pad so i use this mobile as secondary option for pubg

please let me know your which 8x to buy 4gb/6gb
which one is value for money 6gb/64gb or 6gb/128gb

It depends.
6GB is still overkill for phones IMO. Its kind of futureproof but for mid-range devices like Honor 8X, 6GB is a waste of money as SoC isn't that good. More RAM helps with having more apps in memory. 4GB is fine for now & next 2 years for most people even with a custom UI.

If you even game a bit, Honor Play will thrash Honor 8X by a decent margin even if 8X had 6GB RAM.

Under 15k, I'd say Asus Max Pro M2 is a better choice than 8X.

If you can spend 17k, get Honor Play or extend the budget to 20k & get Poco F1 (doesn't look good but you will have a case most likely). Poco F1 has a better SoC & camera than Honor Play. With GCam mod, Poco F1 might be the best camera phone under 28k.
