Maybe your antivirus delete the svchost.exe. It.s very vital file. You can restore it using backup, repair using your xp cd before boot or you reinstall your xp

your antivirus is avg right try kaspersky if you have money or avast for free it's better than avg and if the virus still there after you disinfect it then use acd.see. Search the virus and delete it directly from acd.see
