Optimus manager should work OK. It supports Arch and Manjaro. It is not perfect. But it is good enough experience. Hey @Dexterminator - If you haven't tried Manjaro, I would recommend you to give it a go.

I have been using Linux as a daily driver since Fuduntu days! Removed Windows 7 since Ubuntu 12.04 if my brain is working right! Been using Manjaro as a daily driver for the last 4 years. :) I game, code and work in it! Glad to see some movement here in the opensource section BTW! :)

As mentioned by @Desmond David , These are the seat belts that are needed to keep the OS safe so that you avoid making a mess of your system. I would not recommend you being in root while you are in a GUI session.

I wonder how good their service in Bengaluru is though. Like, I pay for ACT because they are realiable, very reliable in my area. I am unable to find a lot online about Spectra.

Can you please be a bit more specific @prudhivisekhar ? Are you facing the issue while trying to install the Manjaro system or are you facing the issue after it got installed? What did you try in the Bumblebee page? And which bumblebee page are you talking about? is it this one...

@prudhivisekhar - We can work this out together! There are multiple ways if I remember the Manjaro forum threads correctly, I myself use dual graphics w/ NVIDIA. I might be able to help solve your issues :) No one should be avoiding Manjaro just because you couldn't figure out Nvidia probs ;)

I am getting a sense that even though the public torrent sites are going strong, the private torrent trackers are amazingly strong still!
