Your RAM is DDR RAM.The actual speed of a PC3200(DDR400) stick is 200MHz.But since it is DDR the speed is effectively doubled in operation(to 400MHz).
DDR means Double Data Rate.Hence a 200 mhz stick works at the speed of 400MHz effectively.
Presently,Intel is OK and AMD is pretty good. But one thing that worries me is that i cannot understand for how long Intel will try to push their clockspeeds instead of innovating new technologies that make their processors more efficient as in the case of AMD.Currently,AMD can push their clocks...
There is NO motherboard that can compare to the speed of the FX5700.The 9100 IGP chipset from ATi has the 9100(a slower version than the normal Radeon 9100,i think). There are a few NForce based motherboards that have onboard Geforce 4's.The onboard graphics on these motherboards is by no means...
there definitely WILL be a 4GHz proccy for the masses.just 4 yrs ago we wud hav thot that a 3GHz proccy requires liquid nitrogen but that is not the case.new ways of cooling will come up.
also at the rate the speeds r increasing its just a matter of time wen we see a new 4 GHZ proccy come out.
