[DIGIT TEST CENTRE] Sneak Peek - Logitech G13 game board

A nice new product from Logitech, and one we are quite interested in. Although the fewer keys take some getting used to, once you map your favourite games' controls to the proper keys, the action starts. Macro keys, backlighting, an LCD HUD and even a tracking device with mouse buttons for...

    Preview + Feedback [May 2010]

Hi, the test was actually dropped because of a number of reasons, the most significant one being nearly all manufacturers were having a product line refresh, this being the end of the financial year. So stocks are recalled from everywhere. New products will be launched in the coming months...

[DIGIT TEST CENTRE] Sneak Peek - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 & 470

Here's a look at the rig. We tested it our i7 965 Extreme (we blew the 975 Extreme with some overclocking so that was out), 6 GB of Kingston DDR3 (2000 MHz @ 8-8-8-24), Western Digital Velociraptor HDD. The board was our Intel DX50SO. The PSU is a CoolerMaster UCP 1100W.

[DIGIT TEST CENTRE] Sneak Peek - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 & 470

That's a neat looking chassis. Although the inside looks a bit cramped from this side. Where'd you get the pic from BTW?

[DIGIT TEST CENTRE] Sneak Peek - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 & 470

In keeping with our reputation for acquiring cutting edge stuff, we present our latest bundle of joy from the fellows in green... The GTX 480 is built around a 40nm process, features 480 SPs and has a whopping 384-bit wide memory bus that supplies the bandwidth required to 1.5 GB of GDDR5...

    CPU Cooler & Cabinet dilemma..

It's been said before and I'll reiterate - that PSU needs changing. The Extreme series from CM are very basic. I'd recommend something like a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme, but check if your cabinet is wide enough to clear this cooler, else get the Ultima 90i. Consider the Antec 900 too -...

    24" LCD Monitor

^Nice, you've done your homework. The CR of 1001:1 by CNET looks a bit fishy - TN panels rarely cross 700:1. 1000:1 is closer to where PVA/MVA get. Brightness level (luminance) is another matter. For us, the ambient light doesn't matter as we disable the backlight sensor. This is needed...

[DIGIT TEST CENTRE] Sneak Peek - Acer Liquid

You would be correct in assuming so. As did I. Believe me, the surprise was profound, and the accompanying annoyance was great.

[DIGIT TEST CENTRE] Sneak Peek - Acer Liquid

Those problems are secondary. I'm talking about basic problems as a handset. In my opinion, a smartphone/PDA phone worth even 50K has to be a good phone before being anything else. Interfacing, call functionality, interface response, convenience when using basic call/messaging features, call...

Hi guys, We recently got our hands on Acer's Liquid, based on Google Android 1.6 (Donut). We'll have a longer review in the relevant section up soon, but for now check out a couple of pics. It's quite a sexy device, with curved edges. The front of the handset is glossy black and the screen...
