Will this be a good option for a surge protector?
My UPS is not working currently with such low voltages most of the times. But if I connect my PC directly to the mains, it works fine. And sometimes I am getting Random Restarts and a message displays that PC was shutdown to protect it from surges.
So, will this be a good option?

As long as they see any ants on the drive, they won't open it up, but if they see even one ant on the drive surface, there goes your warranty.
This is weird, a drive is a mechanical object, with running parts etc, ants should no go there, unless drawn in by the heat, but still, ants tend to stay away from moving objects.
Clean the ants and give it for RMA.
