In your case I think ur mobo has a max limit of 512MB. Older mobos had limits like this. Check ur mobo specs.

Most prob it will be bcos of bad media. Try another DVD/another brand DVD. If u r getting this error with many brand DVDs, ur writer wud have gone bad.

Dont worry about phenom for now. By the time phenom becomes mainstream, your motherboard will become quite outdated. Then u'll be better off selling ur mobo/proccy/ram combo and getting a newer motherboard which supports phenom properly. For ur ultra low budget,just get something which will get...

Get some cheap local brand TV tuner card for around 1000 rupees or so. Encoding can be done using software. This is the cheapest option I can think of.

How come u got 6 channels?...u r supposed to get only one...usually it will be in channel 4. RF modulator converts the o/p of the channel u r currently watching on ur STB to one particular TV channel. Try tuning again..make sure connections are correct. BTW this RF modulating thing will...

100% true...never try to save money on keyboard and mouse. Good ones cost so little...u wont save much money on being stingy anyway. Your comfort is worth much more than the money u'd save on a crappy keyb/mouse. Never ever get anything lower than a standard logitech/microsoft keyb/mouse.

Yes, u need to get better batteries. Get some NiMH batteries with atleast 2000-2500 mAH capacity and a charger. Wont cost u much. Each battery would cost around 80 rupees or so. U can get it from camera shops or electronics shops
