well MTNL 256KBPS UL and only total of 675 with tax and everything, and I use it more then 20 GB .. :) Hack 20 GB on 16mbps line, they must be out of there mind. That too cost 3K without tax. This is stupid.

You can install app with out having root access in Linux = True without problem, this is the best part with having diffrent set of permission level. and you can change permission of a file even if you are not owner. I don't have anything against windows, and even they are trying there best...

well I use IE, Firefox and Opera, I use firefox all the time but company just stuck with IE. I would check IE8 but still nothing come close to firefox. But still i guess this is just a matter of choice who likes what.

wow, how u guys get to be so lucky, i used Vista (*Home Premium Bundled with my Lappy*) from July 2007 to Sept 2007(So much resource problem, lots of crashes *Oh btw i saw BSOD for 5 times in 3 months*, Slow response, Software compatablity and i can go on) then actually i never opened it again...

I have used BSNL BB for more then 2 yrs, and never faced any problem, either with connectivity, billing or customer support .. :)

ye Ubuntu 8.04 is running on my system from around 6 months i guess, i installed it the day it was released. Till date i haven't found any problem, or stability issue, tho they always make updates soon.

Go for Ubuntu 8.04 or 8.10 ..

BTW u don't even need VNC to do desktop shearing b/w Linux and Windows ...

Well LP is defined in a different way, It's Alternative ROCK. SO I think some one say it's a rapcore which is around, but They are defined under Alternative ROCK.

I think you can do it, using VM ware, it will create it's own file for that much space, and it will be done. But you will be under windows tho you can use everything in linux.
