App of the Week: Gyrosco.pe

With hundreds of ways to track your fitness, computer usage, sleep, health and more out there, Gyrosco.pe lets you do all of that in one place

Statistics and numbers are aplenty in today’s data driven world, especially at an individual level. From fitness trackers to app usage monitors, you have ways to put a numerical quantity on everything you do. And with Gyrosco.pe, all that data comes down to one place – your smartphone.

This one app intends to be the one stop for any information you need about yourself. Unlike quite a few tracking apps, there’s not one bit of information that you can enter manually on Gyrosco.pe app. All the information in this app is obtained via integrations. For instance, with a free account, your steps and heart rate can be tracked via Google Fit, Fitbit or Moves, locations from Moves and Foursquare, computer activity from RescueTime, other fitness activities like running, cycling etc through Strava and Runkeeper, and more.

The true usefulness of Gyrosco.pe comes out through its reports. The one dashboard that you open summarises your day, week and month effectively by showing how many steps you walked, how productive you were, how well you slept and more data. Going down into the details shows you some pretty interesting visualizations. For instance, while checking a monthly report, the steps tab also shows you a map of all the places you walked to. Breaking down the daily running information shows you how many donuts you burned off (pretty useful for donut lovers for sure). Every section and subsection includes interesting graphs and charts that show you how well you’re dealing with that particular aspect of your life at one glance.

From the Dashboard, you can drill down to individual tabs for interesting graphs and charts based on your data
