The good thing about this mount is it’s kind of universal, you’re not restricted to just bikes, just about anything with a handle will suffice. This mount offers a lot of measures to keep your phone safe and intact. Other than the clamp itself which holds your phone in place on this mount, there are additional bands behind which fasten around the phone for that extra stability and protection.
The clamp itself which secures the mount to the handle is also very secure and uses both a screw and lock mechanism to stay securely in place. The base itself has soft cushioning on it to prevent your smartphone from getting scratches. The mount can also be rotated 360 degrees for the viewing angle of your preference. Definitely a handy tool for the biking and cycling enthusiasts out there.
The folks who made the Kado call it the world’s thinnest charger. This little card like thing is capable of charging your devices. It’s compatible with almost all USB types, from Type-C, microUSB and even Apple Lightning ports. You don’t have to deal with the hassle of messy cables if you have a Kado; which you can pretty much carry with you all time – in your pocket or wallet. It’s that thin. If that wasn’t enough it comes with 2.1A fast charge as well. If the ports it supports wasn’t enough of an indicator, this does indeed support both Android and Apple devices.
The Eyn wallet case doubles as a convenient, well, wallet. The case can be opened after it’s been snugly fit around your iPhone. Inside it, you can store up to three cards and cash quite comfortably. It’s even got a mirror with and comes with a wrist strap too. If that wasn’t enough it’s got a kickstand too, to make your video viewing experience much easier. This is the ideal case for those who don’t want to carry too many different things and would rather have everything together. Oh, as a PS: you can fit lip balm in there.
While on the surface the Lunecase looks like any other iPhone case, it’s actually slightly more than that. When using the Lunecase, you can see notifications on the back of your phone in the form of glowing symbols. For example, if you were to receive a phone call, the back of the Lunecase would light up with the phone icon which will blink 3 times over 6 seconds. Similarly, with messages it would light up with the message icon which would blink 2 times. The best part about the Lunecase are its various customisation, it has good range of design choices with different elements that light up.
This smartphone case doubles as a charger as well. It’s got charging prongs on the back which fold into it when not in use. Since you can plug your phone in directly via the case when it’s in use, you’ve effectively gotten rid of the need for cords. You have the option to detach the Prong’s battery attachment for times when you don’t think you’ll need it. It’s got a slimmer inner case and an outer case which plugs into the socket. This outer case is where the external battery is. You can slide your phone into this outer case when you need to charge it or need some extra juice for your phone.
Smartphone cameras these days are pretty darn good. It’s become increasingly easy to take DSLR-like quality photos and recording with smartphone cameras. The only drawback seems to be that the lenses and sensors on smartphones are too small to provide a decent shallow depth of field effect. Beastgrip is offering a solution to this, with a new DoF adapter. This adapter lets you use high-end SLR lenses with your smartphone, so now instead of comparing the two, you can just combine the two.
While the idea of using huge lenses with your smartphone camera isn’t new, the Beastgrip adapter takes this idea to a whole new pro-grade level.
Clip-on Phone Camera lenses
Sometimes we may not want bulky adapters or mounts, other times we probably can’t always carry them around. If not the above, then the bulkier ones can also be quite expensive. Clip-on phone lenses are a great cheaper alternative to that. These wide angle lenses can enable you to take pictures of much wider ranges. Up to 180 degrees. They also let you zoom beyond your phone’s capabilities, allowing you to zoom from 10X up to 25X times.
Since these lenses make use of simple clip-on mechanics, they can fit with almost any phone as long the camera lense is in the place where it usually is. More often than not, camera lenses come with multiple lenses offering different specs.
Because Batman. And it looks really cool. There’s really no other uses for it.
