Which pen drive to go for?

Guys, I'm planning to buy a 16GB pen drive. My only concern is, it should be fast enough, and of course not too costly :D

Earlier I thought to go for Corsair, but they are very costly, so now I have narrowed my search to this

This one is 3.0. Any comments and suggestions?

11MB/s seems very good speeds, I get 7-8 from my HP one, and 4 from my Cruzer :x I guess i will go with A-data one, coz no 3.0 drives are in same price bracket (correct me if i am wrong).

Instead of getting a 16GB pendrive IMO getting a 160GB-250GB ext.HDD for around 1.5k will be better option.

I have a Corsair Voyager GT 2.0 16GB which I bought some 10 months ago. Gives me 26-30 MB/s speeds. Beats any 2.0 pendrive I have used till date by a huge margin. I can only imagine how 3.0 drives of this series will perform. In any case, get the Corsair Voyager series if you want good speeds.

I bought it in Jan '11. At that time, it was around 1800/- on eBay. Still costs 1600/- there:

CORSAIR FLASH VOYAGER GT 16GB SUPER RUGGED HIGH SPEED USB FLASH PEN DRIVE | eBay

You get 10 yrs of warranty, a solid build, which is supposedly shockproof, dustproof, and splashproof, and great transfer speeds. :)
