the only alternative which remains is MSI 880gma-e45 @ 5k.

and Asus M4A87TD USB3 @ 5.6k. this motherboard doesnt have onboard IGP but it is still a great ATX motherboard.

Just as a "good to know" info. If 890GPA UD3H is again available, make sure its Rev 3.1!

Rev 3.1 supports AM3+ natively (black coloured AMD socket) and upto 2000MHz memory on OC, against 1866Mhz on older Rev. It also comes with Hybrid EFI support, therefore giving you 2TB+ support as well.

Amd has to confirm this. Are you sure about the bulldozer support?

Rev 3.1 actually is a 'AM3+' motherboard. Not AM3. So, it would run Bulldozer fine. And Phenom II/Athlon II AM3 processors too.
