Looking for a good budget LED TV for my parents

2. Display type and size: LED, 40-50 inches

Mom says she wants a 'big' TV so not sure about size but definitely above 32 inches.

3. Primary use of TV: watching soaps, news and movies
4. Ports Required: HDMI, 3.5mm audio in and out, RCA optional
5. Preferred choice of brand: None
6. Any TV/monitor in consideration: None
7. Any other info that you want to share: The brand should have good after-sales service. Also I do not want to buy any kind of smart TV. I am planning to buy a RaspberryPi or equivalent and build a media center out of that which will take care of all the 'smartness'.

Thank you for your recommendation. I don't think I can buy TCL or Vu because their aren't any service centers here. It seems that I am stuck with Sony, Samsung, LG or Panasonic.
