I am open to other brands if the product is value for money and the after sales service is good enough.

6) Anything else you would like to say?

• Screen resolution ( 768p (HD) / 900p / 1080p (Full HD) ) : Full HD preferred.
  
• Battery back up ( normal (3-4hrs) / extended (5-7hrs) ) : Normal is preferred, but would like to know other options as well.
  
• Purchase place ( Online (eg - flipkart, infibeam) / Local : Don't have issues purchasing the product online from ecommerce stores, as long as the warranty is accepted. Locally Vijay Sales/Croma are preferable as well. Location : Thane, Near Mumbai

This the best you can get if you add 1k more to your budget. But I will still say to wait for one more week for intel 8th Gen Processor laptop which will give you better multi tasking performance.

41k for a laptop with 720p HD screen that comes with only 1 usb 3.0 port out of 3 usb ports & doesn't even have gigabit lan is a waste of money no matter how you look at it.

This one comes with full HD 1080p screen but has no gigabit lan(a big no for me as in my opinion any laptop that comes with 100mbps lan now-a-days is trying to fool customers when my 6 years old dell laptop had gigabit lan).

That laptop is waste of money with 920MX graphics card when similarly priced another model comes with 940MX graphics card.If you are buying a laptop with graphics card then any laptop offering less than 940/940MX for price range of 40-50k is not worth buying.
