Hi all,
has anybody tried scanning the file "jccatch.dll" (under the flashget installation directory) using AVG v7.1 it says the file is infected with a virus. If i heal it, the antivirus deletes it and there will be no browser click monitoring.

anybody having any idea. :?: :!:

I had similar problem and yes the file u mentioned has a virus
its actually a BHO(Browser helper object) as per Microsoft Antispyware
It modifies default settings of browsers and may hav a toolbar installed

Use Microsoft antispyware, it prevents the browser from getting affected and u can also njoy Flashjet without any problems

As far ur antivirus is concerned Tweak ur antivirus such that it avoids scaning the file again and again

i scanned using zonealarm but it says its clean.

update your zonealarm antivirus definiton files or scan the file using AVG (it is a good antivirus).

I would trust full stream anti-virus products rather than AVG. I use Flashget and yes there are no viruses present.
