Do we need to install drivers for windows 8.1 ?

I am replacing windows 10 with windows 8.1. But I am afraid Windows 8.1 won't work as I don't have DRIVERS CD. Will the windows download the drivers for itself?

Download drivers from your laptop manufacturer website or motherboard manufacturer website(if it is a desktop).Windows will automatically install drivers for as many devices as it can find for which drivers are available with microsoft but it is not guaranteed that every driver is available with microsoft.
