HP 15-d103TX 15.6-inch Laptop (Sparklingblack) with Laptop Bag:Amazon:Computers & Accessories

HP d103tx. this one is the best laptop that you can buy at ~35k. the price now quoted is ~39k but believe me this was selling for ~35k till yesterday. i have been keeping an eye on the price for a week and the price has been ~35k for most days. I was about to buy this one but had to postpone the plan.

It has i5 4200M (not ULV) with HD 4600.
This is the best you can get. You can't get an FHD display in this price bracket though.

Buy this when the price touches ~35k ( just keep checking the page).

Update : The price is 35,765 with Amazon fulfilled.

Yea that's a good laptop.
It also has GT 820M dGPU.
This is still better though(if you can make it):

Uh, have you looked upon AMD based models? My friend has this model: Lenovo Ideapad Z585 (59-347937) Laptop (APU Quad Core A8/ 4GB/ 1TB/ Win8/ 2.5GB Graph) Rs.36900 Price in India - Buy Lenovo Ideapad Z585 (59-347937) Laptop (APU Quad Core A8/ 4GB/ 1TB/ Win8/ 2.5GB Graph) Metallic Grey Online - Lenovo: Flipkart.com and it was pretty decent for gaming. AMD APU based solutions are worth considering here. I can't recommend anything with Intel graphics for this.

That laptop is quite a looker, but honestly, you are better off with a Snapdragor 800/nvidia Tegra 4/K1 tablet rather than having an ULV i3(a bad comparison, but yeah, ULV i3 is fail). HP one is a better deal.

Who the hell came up with the idea of pairing a 820m with a ULV i3?

It is the new trend, pair up an ULV with a decent GPU to increase battery life, and 820M is actually well suited for starting end ULVs, considering it's a fermi chip well into Maxwell generation.

The thing is manufacturers often pair ULVs with poor rated batteries so their is no increase of battery life over their mainstream counterparts. A money laundering scheme imo.
