Computer doesn't go to sleep on plugging in the xbox 360 controller

My computer is configured to turn off the display when its been idle for 10 mins. However of late i've observed that whenever i plug in my xbox 360 controller the display doesn't turn off even when its been inactive for 10 mins or longer. Can anyone suggest why this is happening? Are there any settings that i need to change from "Power options" to get this working? This controller was formerly used on another system, however there such issues never occurred,so i wonder why is it interfering with the system's ability to go to sleep upon being connected to a different PC.What should i do to resolve this glitch?

Try device settings via device manager & there check what power settings are available for this controller device(maybe try "allow system to turn off this device" setting if available).

It may not be possible:
Controller (or driver) causing Windows 10 to always stay awake
Just keep checking for any new drivers from MS & hope they fix it.
