1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')

Ans: Intense trading software's, Games - Cities skyline, football manager occasional battlefield / cod, only online.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.

Ans: 60-75k ( willing to upgrade few components like graphic cards etc every 1-2 years )

3. Planning to overclock?

Ans: I believe so, yes. cities skylines definetly pushes my current laptop to the limit.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?

Ans: 10

5. How much hard drive space is needed?

Ans: Hard drive I dunno but ssd is a must

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.

Ans: Need to buy a monitor, A 24 inch full hd monitor should be enough, also need 1 or 2 extra screens ( wont use the extra screens for gaming, just work purpose )

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?

Ans: fresh full buy.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?

Ans: need 1 within a week as my current laptop is kind of spoilt. but if any better tech is coming i can wait for a month or maybe even. Amd - Vega ?

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?

Ans: No, but my laptop repair guy has agreed to come and assemble.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?

Ans: If online i could trust only amazon prime, other locally from Lamination road Mumbai.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?

Ans: My current laptop, bought it 2-3 years back from usa, Must be better pls:

Intel Core i7-4720HQ @2.60Ghz
Intel HD Graphics 4600
Nvidia GTX 960m
16Gb RAM - ( when i play cities skylines, its take 80% of ram, so bigger then 16gb pls )
512 SSD
Windows 10 x64

Ill spend some extra cash on ram if needed to.

Why 1600x and hyper 212? That amount can be used on a GTX 1060 6GB

Almost same config but with core changes (shown in bold):

CPU: AMD Ryzen R5 1600 - 16900
CPU Cooler: Stock - 0

Motherboard: Asus Prime B350 Plus - 8000
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB(8GBx2) 3000Mhz - 10000
GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 6GB Amp - 24500
PSU: Seasonic S12II 520w - 5500
Cabinet: Corsair Spec 4 - 3400
Hard Disk: WD Caviar Blue 1TB - 3500
SSD: Sandisk Z410 120 GB - 3380 (bare minimum one should get) Already have it
Monitor: LG 22MP68VQ-P 22" LED IPS - 9000,
KB+Mouse: Logitech MK200 - 1000.
TOTAL - 85,180 81,800. (+- 2k, prices keep changing. Get parts from wherever they are cheaper.)

I'd still recommend getting a mechanical kb and more case fans for this rig.

Use the 512 GB ssd from your laptop. Total updated.

thanks for ur post, ill be buying in 1-2 days.

How u getting the prices, could u provide a link, also ill be buying a new ssd. will keep this laptop as backup. monitor i already bought worth 10k last month. Also hard drive not needed as i wont store movies on this pc. 512 ssd should be enough? or 256gb + 500gb hd.

Also ram i take of 16gb, can i upgrade to 8 more gb later on?

monitor will cost atleast 25 k so 70k won't be enough

Good 24 inch Full HD, Non 4K monitors can be had for 15k
You can consider the Dell Ultrasharp u2412 with 1980x1200 resolution as well..the extra 120 pixels height is very useful but it will be a around 20k

Change motherboard to ASROCK B350 Plus, from prime abgb, its available for 7150 and has much better reviews than the ASUS one. (Quote ztr on this)
