I will go with blackberry, E5 cant beat it in the email/im department. Issue is with the Govt & RIM over security concerns. Its pretty obvious though RIM will be able to save the services in India like they did in UAE. So, Blackberry it is :)

I have an iPad and it has totally replace my laptop. Its just that good, but it depends on what u want out of it. I browse, play games, some music, movies etc.

My personal advice, dont buy a new iPod touch now, a complete new version is coming soon(with camera and a possible HD display). Wait for some let it release, dont like that buy the older version with a price decrease.

It depends on your need, if you need something for casual browsing, games n stuff, nothing can beat iPad. For all other things nettop should do. Also you might want to wait for HP Slate , that is some amazing piece of hardware.
