or... u can couple that mobo with a A64 2800+ (socket 754). The CPU wont cost u more than 8500 bucks. And u'll not have to upgrade for a couple of years :) And, that mobo costs that much only. No point in trying to sell at higher price.

Powercom 600VA are supposedly good too. Infact, Powercom is the 2nd largest UPS company in the world. Next to APC. They have a 600VZ UPS in the sub-3k range. I wudnt suggest V-Guard UPS though. have heard some problems about them.

Anidex, pal, ur post reminds me of the plight of all those who bought a "cost-effective" solution -i810. Those ppl are cursing Intel (and themselves) for the lack of AGP slot! if u r a gamer, then u ought to have a graphics card.

Just thot u must know that the latest Intel 865GBF motherboards are NOT coming with AGP slot. Check b4 u buy.

with 10k budget, if price permits, then u can either go with a ordinary (non-Flat) 19" or get a 17" Flat monitor at about Rs.8000.00. And dont worry about the card, even if u get a 19", it'll run fine...
