Headphones with good bass. budget 1k +/-200

an important thing to be noted for c12 regarding source:thumbs:. well that is certainly not inherently crap iem. its not the best out there in budget but decent. soundmagic equivlnts do perform better if someone needs more cleaner sound. So stop cursing sony. they do have their share in best...

    IEM for ~3k

A very good option you pointed out  c12 is definitely bass heavy but its well balanced iem. though warm but the treble is real good enough to bring out the details. mids are very slightly veiled but put forth the vocals right upfront with natural tone. Its a slight v-shape i would say...

    need headphones.. budget - 15,000

i would rather spend that much:-| for a good headphone than on iems unless they are among the top tiers like Triple fi10s, senn ie8 or Vsonic gr07.

    IEM for ~3k

my bad  .. lol yeah that guy:P used to own it long back. would go with e10 over alpha as its just too costly now. build quality is decent on e30. they lasted me good, used them around 13-14 months before i sold em off. xb30 for bass heavy genres, E10 would be good for both and more...

    need headphones.. budget - 15,000

^dont know. i googled and some local sites cropped up with huge price ~12k. no point in wasting your money just for sweat resistant thing:P

    IEM for ~3k

Nope its total value for money. tell me a single mid-centric iem with that good sound in such a low price. for that signature you would end up shelling out more than 5k:P UEs lower lineup is not as good as the soundmagics, vsonic and the likes. ue350 is more focused on bass and are decent but...

SIGNATURE ACOUSTICS C-12 Elements Wooden IEMs review/impressions

agree on that part, everytime you need to focus on those tiny letters yeah that.. or the ring like groove on the buds can be color coded. would that go well with the classy wooden shade of buds:chinscratch:? well pointed out but what i think about it-- 1) yeah something definitely needs to be...

    need headphones.. budget - 15,000

Their are very few water and sweat resistant iems. theres bowers and wilkins c5 which is sweat resistant only and would trump the cx685 and isport in terms of sound but then its just too costly. No point in spending 8k for something like monster. i think cx685 would be good enough for your sweat...

    IEM for ~3k

Soundmagic E30. thats the best sub3k iem. i would even go ahead and say nothing beats it for its natural sound in even 4k range. neutral and well balanced sound with liquid mids and nice treble sparkle. very wide, open and airy feel :)

    need headphones.. budget - 15,000

thats quite true, s2 being a bad source. even a tiny clip plus/zip is gonna sound far better. And that should be the idea, to settle for some good 10k phones and upgrade your source. if possible add an amp. what are you looking for?? on/over ears, portability/home use, sound?? heard a lot of...

Headphones with good bass. budget 1k +/-200

xb30 would be really good for bass. why not soundmagic? if you consider that, you can have a look at e10 as well. All of them are going to work good with your lumia. >If you want to feel the bass thump with decent fidelity, nothing gets better than xb400. sony is crazy to put in such a good...

    Headphone within 3-4k

^ yes xb400 do feel plasticky and you have to be a bit careful. they are good in their price range sub 2k. Hd439 is in a different league all together and would sound way better than xb400. 439 is a full size over ear can and would be far more detailed in everything. Your best bet would be hd439...

Headphones with good bass. budget 1k +/-200

^ i take your point. but thats what all the brands do for their bass heavy cans. without that extra mid bass hump, you wont percieve the extra bumpy or thud sound. take the phillips bass series SHL for that matter and you would for sure find it to be even worse than what you described sony as...

+1 for es18.. cables do look cheap but may last good as my cousin had used it quite roughly and it lasted around 8-9 months. dont know about tempo.

Headphones with good bass. budget 1k +/-200

mate you got a wrong impression about Sony(no offence). You generalised everything about sony based on a particular series. here we are talking Bassy phones, and thats what Sony XB series is meant for and excellent at that. If you are looking for a balanced sound that you wanna take out details...

Headphones with good bass. budget 1k +/-200

both are very good bassy(not overpowered) portables and goes deep in lows. SJ33 has a quick bass response and a good body. clean deep bass. XB400 has a more defined bass with more thump factor. more sub bass fun. Vocals are easy to figure out & upfront on SJ but on XB coz of more bass, sounds a...
