The default SMS app doesn't show unread messages count in the icon. Is there any setting to enable that? If not, suggest an alternative. Also, the lock screen doesn't have any notification for unread messages or calls. Why?

About the pictures, the first one (your dog) turned out poor and yellowish in Xperia M. But the second one (cityscape) came out with bright colors while Moto G one was dull. Any thoughts on this one? Did lighting changed between shots?
