you don't need internet for maps in optimus one either. Google maps is free and can locate your position no matter which god forsaken place you may be at.

Have you tried with other videos etc. What OS are you running? tried the clear type font setting in Vista and above? Also find the auto adjust function in your monitor.

the latest firmware update from lg solved the sd unmount issue so you can use any sd card.

I want the laptop for downloading such content. I'd like it to play HD content since my phone can play regular dvd resolution just fine. I do have a desktop but its at home and this laptop will just be a temporary home for all HD content. can they last if I keep them ON 24hours x 365days...
