You cannot go back to giving exams and getting it the proper way?
Are you not confident of clearing them?

I had like 23 backlogs in my MCA,I cleared them in the 5 semester writing 9 one day exams .. Luckily only 5 backlogs were reminded after 23 .. Nothing is impossible. I also got passed in 73% with 1st class including RHCE exams.

PS: Had backlogs because of interest in gaming and computer. Just made a pause for 3 months games and computer which ended very well.

I had 12 KTs out of 14 subjects in the very first (2nd) year of BE in comps.
I would suggest it will be better for you to tell the truth to your family.
Dont use any shortcut methods to get degree certificates.
you can try NIIT courses, they are helpful in getting started.
my sister was from commerce and just after doing NIIT course got a job in IT now earning more than me.

That you are interested and looking for a network profession could be a plus to clear your arrears.

Most don't get a high paying network job when they complete a degree. They usually take 18 to 36 months to get a decent paying job.
Take any local job that provides desktop/network support. Don't mind the low pay. Prepare for your arrears in parallel. Concentrate on no more than 5 to 7 papers for a semester. Clear out the easier ones first and prioritise/schedule your study and job properly.

Like damngoodman999 said, pause your distractions for a year or two.

He was genuinely asking for help and not throwing out your ego smartness, people like you are such a bum for this society!

my point is not to brag about my "Ego smartness".. My point is, if a person waits till twenty-four backlogs to get to his senses, then he totally deserves it.. Period. People accumulate this many backlogs because they take academics too lightly.. Im not a smart person but I sure as hell know I'd be f***ed if I had 24 BLs..

Let me tell you something.. If he had felt "insulted" a few semesters ago when someone like me had pointed out his failures regarding these backlogs, i can certainly say [hope ] this would never have happened.. Sometimes Criticism is important to get you on the right track.. Never assume that just because he is asking for help, blindly giving him "moral support" will miraculously get him out of this predicament

I may sound like a total douche but OP has failed to realise the importance of avoiding BLs, moral support now wont do him any good

And for the love of god, tell your parents about this.. DO NOT LISTEN to anyone saying dont do this .. Right now you are paying for the bad decisions you made, and you are old enough to know about this, but please do not make another bad decision by not telling your parents and worsen your situation

if you have an older brother or sister, its best to ask them for guidance

Dude no need to feel guilty for any your mistakes
**** happens just deal with it with whatever you got when you finish your degree there is a whole different world waiting for you
People in general cannot tolerate failure but thats the most necessary thing which tells about oneself .

And people who critisize are ones who actually fear failure the most and that fear keeps ruling them for life.
Always remember desire to succeed needs to be more than the fear of failure.

I had studied under ignou and therefore i'm fully aware of how much anguish and misery one experiences after suffering backlogs-my experience at ignou was like a waking nightmare as no matter how much i tried i couldn't completely avoid getting backlogs-their system of conducting examinations was abysmal and there were instances when i got poor marks or even failed despite doing well in certain papers-many of my batchmates also failed unexpectedly in various subjects even though they had done quite well and were hopeful of getting atleast the pass marks-it seems the ignou examiners are evil sadists who deliberately give poor marks even to students who don't deserve it so that they fail and have to endure extreme agony and humiliation, not to mention the frustration of having to appear in the same exam all over again in the following semesters.

@op i am sorry to hear about your predicament,i hope you'll find a way to earn a degree in a legitimate manner soon enough.

same here. I too had 15+ arrears in my 4th semester of MCA.
Also, i would mention very important thing here. I never failed in any exam before and was afraid to have arrears in my BCA course. But in MCA I took studies lightly and lost all the fear of backlogs. Result, 15+ backlogs just before the college placements. Obviously I was not eligible to sit in any campus recruitment programs. Somehow cleared all the backlogs before finishing my college and got the degree on time, though Second class. I regret a lot about not getting placed in campus.

Point is, one have to give their best to come out this mess, but waking up sooner, as Nerevarine mentioned, is important. If one was forced to study certain course, then i guess this is expected thing, otherwise better avoid backlogs at first place. This is nothing to be proud off as many of us feel in college and brag about backlog count.

Superbly said, bro.
I was once an average student during my school days with some good friends but when I came back to my hometown for 10+, there were some goals but I got distracted by the worst friends circle I ever had. I somehow got my degree and then went for BL. In the 1st year, I struggled but later on, it's just a walk in the park because I started to love Law just like I did before my 1st degree.

Mistakes are not final but what we have achieved or going to achieve is final. I had a lot of backlogs in my 1st degree but in Law, there isn't any because I realized by then.
People who criticize are ones who actually fear failure the most and that fear keeps ruling them for their entire life.

We need to keep our options open always. We need to plan in such a way. These will be long-term investments and long-term goals.
Investments are not in the sense like monetary but academic efforts and related jobs like such.
In fact, after you secure a good job my above long-term investments and goals also apply here.

It is completely okay dear. Just don't worry about it. Your family is supporting you. What more can you ask more? Trust me there are bigger things to worry about, you will understand as you get older. I wish you all the best and happiness in life.
